You will be part of the urban development department's newly established project management unit together with other project controllers, project managers, and others. Responsibilities As a project controller, you will work primarily with budget, monitoring, forecasting, and analysis work as well as review of calculations and decision documents for the urban development department's urban development projects in all project phases. You will have a central role in creating structure and overview of a geographical project portfolio with planning, development, and investment projects in various stages and in establishing uniform accounting and reporting principles. The work is conducted in close collaboration with, among others, project managers, project leaders, planning architects, development engineers, and line managers. The role means that you are an important link between operations and the city's finance department and also involves some external contacts to support operations in financial matters. Business development is an important part of the department's and sector's work, where you drive and contribute to the development of common working methods, relevant key figures, and efficient routines. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have an academic degree in economics or other relevant education that the employer considers equivalent. You have several years of experience in the controller role in development and investment projects and a good understanding of urban development issues in a municipal context. You have several years of experience in financial work and are accustomed to analyzing and presenting financial documents in a pedagogical way. You have a good understanding of financial management, monitoring, internal control, financial accounting, and business development. You have very good knowledge of the Swedish language and express yourself fluently in both speech and writing. It is advantageous if you have experience with the project management system Antura and the financial system Raindance.
