The Role
We are seeking an experienced IT project manager who wants to drive complex and mission-critical projects within the defense sector. You thrive in environments where structure, security, and quality are paramount, and where projects often involve multiple technical and business stakeholders.
In this role, you will plan, lead, and execute IT projects in environments with stringent security and availability requirements. You will work with complex security-related issues, monitor project progress, and ensure that deliverables are completed according to schedule.
You will, among other things:
Plan and lead IT projects through their various phases.
Own the project timeline, activities, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
Coordinate multiple parallel projects, workflows, and stakeholders.
Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication between business, IT, and other relevant parties.
Identify and manage risks, deviations, and changes throughout the project.
Monitor project status and report progress to steering committees and other decision-makers.
Work with complex IT environments and mission-critical systems where high demands are placed on security, robustness, and availability.
Handle security-related issues and ensure that project deliverables comply with relevant requirements and conditions.
Experience
Several years of experience in IT project management.
Experience from the defense sector.
Experience coordinating multiple parallel projects.
Experience with IT environments and mission-critical systems.
Excellent communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Meritorious
Experience with complex IT environments with high security requirements.
Experience in public sector operations.
Experience from larger organizations.
Experience in business development and change management.
Certification or training in project management.
