Assignment Description
The role is responsible for establishing and further developing test automation for both the video platform and the initiative around AI-supported alarm functions. You will be part of an agile development team of approximately 18 people (including tech leads, developers, product owners, and business representatives) working according to DevOps principles.
Your main responsibilities:
Test Development: Develop automated tests for user interfaces, APIs, integrations, and drive regression testing.
Frameworks & CI/CD: Establish, further develop, and maintain test automation frameworks as well as integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Quality Assurance: Identify quality risks in complex, distributed systems with real-time data and video streams On-Premises.
Communication: Serve as a communication link regarding technical risks and quality aspects to both technical and business-oriented stakeholders.
Strategy: Drive a risk-based and quality-driven approach and actively contribute to a sustainable test strategy.
Mandatory Requirements
Test Automation Experience: At least five (5) years of documented experience developing, maintaining, and further developing automated tests for web or system applications in modern frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
Team-Based Development: At least two (2) years of experience with test automation in team-based development using Git and modern agile development processes.
Establishment & Programming: Experience from at least one (1) assignment where you had personal responsibility for establishing/further developing/maintaining a test framework, with programming in TypeScript, JavaScript, and/or C#.
E2E, API & CI/CD: At least two (2) years of experience developing/maintaining automated End-to-End and API tests against REST-based services as well as integration into CI/CD pipelines.
Meritorious Requirements
Experience from assignments with responsibility for test strategy, test architecture, or technical leadership within test automation.
At least one (1) year of experience with test automation in complex distributed or integration-intensive systems.
At least one (1) year of experience with test automation in at least one of the following areas: real-time video/streaming, security (OAuth2/OpenID Connect), or load and performance testing.
