Your Role As a process engineer in water treatment, you are responsible for optimizing processes related to the sand depot, such as the mix station, treatment plant, and Fenton facility. You work closely with the operations organization providing technical support, troubleshooting, and process development while driving improvement initiatives that strengthen treatment efficiency, environmental performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness. The role combines practical operational support with analysis, development, and long-term improvement work in an operation where environment and sustainability are in focus. Your Team You report to the responsible manager for the sand depot and work in close collaboration with operations personnel, process operators, environmental engineers, and laboratory staff. The role involves many contact points within the organization where collaboration and knowledge exchange are essential for ensuring stable and efficient treatment processes. Your Tasks You work with monitoring, analysis, and optimization. The role involves supporting operations during deviations and troubleshooting, analyzing process data and test results, and driving improvement efforts for increased treatment efficiency, safety, and environmental performance. You also contribute to documentation, development of work methods, and monitoring of environmental and emission requirements. Your Contribution We are looking for someone with relevant technical education or experience from the process industry. You thrive with collaboration, building relationships, and working closely with both operations personnel and other functions to find solutions and drive improvements.
