We are seeking a structured and service-minded personnel and payroll administrator who wants to ensure quality in our payroll processes and contribute to professional support for managers and employees. Production, development, sales, and aftermarket are all located here, along with functions such as finance, IT, and procurement. Skellefteå is also Alimak Group's payroll center in Sweden – we create payroll not only for our own unit but also for the offices in Stockholm and Borås. As a personnel and payroll administrator, you will be part of an HR and payroll team of four people total, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of daily work, and you will have contact with all departments. About the Role As a personnel and payroll administrator, you will be responsible, together with a colleague, for the company's payroll processing and payroll administration. You will also work with maintenance of HR, time, and payroll systems as well as reports and documentation for the organization. The role includes both recurring payroll administration and the development of processes and procedures within the payroll area. You will become an important contact person for managers, employees, and external parties on matters relating to payroll and personnel administration. Examples of tasks: • Process and quality assure the company's payroll processing and administration. • Administer and maintain the company's systems for personnel data, time reporting, and payroll. • Prepare and ensure correct documentation, controls, and reports. • Support managers and employees with payroll and personnel administration matters. • Handle administration related to new hires, onboarding, absences, and other personnel changes. • Handle certain coding and invoice administration. • Contribute to development and improvement of processes and procedures within the payroll area. • Participate in the interpretation and application of laws, collective agreements, and internal guidelines. • Liaise with external parties as needed, such as Försäkringskassan. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with education in payroll and personnel administration or economics, or alternatively with documented experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have worked independently with payroll administration for a number of years and have good knowledge of Swedish laws and collective agreements. The role requires good system skills and strong proficiency in both Swedish and English. It is an advantage if you have good Excel skills and experience in handling, analyzing, and quality-assuring data as well as producing reports and decision-support materials from systems. Since you will be handling confidential information, it is important that you work with great precision and integrity. You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks, while also appreciating collaboration and contributing to the team's common results. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented, have a strong ability to prioritize, and are accustomed to working toward fixed deadlines. We would also welcome your interest in developing and streamlining working methods and processes. It is an advantage if you have experience with: • Agda time and payroll system • IFS business system • Sage People HR system • Technical agreements for IF Metall, Unionen, Sveriges Ingenjörer, and Ledarna • Payroll administration within industrial operations • System integrations and digitalization of HR and payroll processes Application Deadline to apply: 2026-09-30.
