About the Position We are now seeking an engaged personal assistant for a woman in her 30s who lives in her own apartment in central Skellefteå. This is a longer-term temporary position at approximately 55% and we are looking for someone who wants to provide personal and secure support in her daily life. As an assistant, you are the client's extended arms and legs. Since the client lives in her own home, your role is central to ensuring her daily life runs smoothly. The work is varied and includes support with everything from personal hygiene and mobility assistance to cooking and daily household tasks. You will also be present as support during activities outside the home and help the client live an active and independent life. Personal assistance is a service provided under LSS (the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Work hours are scheduled for awake night shifts, both on weekdays and weekends. Shifts are scheduled between 00:00–07:15. For the right person, there are good opportunities for extension after the temporary assignment ends. The formal employment arrangement for the temporary assignment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts," with a set end date. Before you begin your schedule and work independently, you will undergo a paid introduction/onboarding together with the client. During the onboarding period, you will receive a separate contract for a limited-time hourly employment with a set end date. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date by agreement. The temporary assignment begins in August.
