Your Mission Lead a production team Responsible for the execution of the following activities: Assembly Execution (Manufacturing, Assembly and Integration and Testing) Composite and Bonding (AFP, Autoclave, NDI) Lead and direct the Assembly team of the plant through efficiency in: Manufacturing Execution Ensuring the project production budgets Shopfloor Management and define the production standards Productivity improvement initiatives CAPEX planning in line with new product introductions Execution of the shop orders within the framework of the specified quantity, quality, delivery dates and costs Cooperation with quality assurance / product assurance ensuring the necessary production documentation Optimize manufacturing processes in terms of cost, quality, defect risk/tolerance in collaboration with manufacturing engineering, quality / product assurance and production planning and support processes Support the investment/Capex planning and execution by ensuring to meet the planned financial budgets Collaboration in the non-conformance process and measures for root cause analyses, corrective and preventive measures Support of the Industrial Engineering team in quotations, concept work and developments Proactively communicate and align with the adjacent Production Manager for best practice and synergies within the division Take managerial responsibility toward direct reports, performing HR processes such as competence planning, recruitment, performance management, development etc. Lead and develop the team in accordance with the company values as well as business strategy and goals Lead and develop the team to create high engagement, good work environment and positive team spirit Develop and encourage the culture of diversity, equity and inclusion in our organization Your Story Must Haves: Master's or bachelor's degree in technical studies, preferably in production-related discipline Management track record in an industrial environment Solid technical and production background in a project-based industry Understanding of Quality standards and Health & Safety regulations Experience in applying Operational Excellence Methods Nice to Haves: Manager experience in a regulated environment Space or Aerospace experience Why Beyond Gravity? Your responsibility ranges from operation and monitoring to certain maintenance as well as pre- and post-processing work. • Responsible for quality-assuring an 8-axis AFP machine (Automated Fibre Placement). • The machine operates in a 14x9 meter work cell and places carbon fiber according to exact parameters. • Monitors and controls the entire process to ensure high quality. • Performs pre- and post-processing work as well as certain machine maintenance. • Collaborates with other departments to optimize production. • Contributes to developing and improving processes in production. • Ensures that safety routines and quality requirements are followed. • Work in different shifts as work outside daytime hours may occur.
