Your Assignment In your role as a nursing assistant at Kärråkra special care home, you will provide our residents with care, service, and support, as well as organize social activities based on their individual needs and wishes. The work is person-centered and we use implementation plans. We base our approach on the resident's conditions in order to adapt the support provided as much as possible. Your work includes motivating and stimulating the resident to maintain their ability to participate and remain independent. We use low-affective interaction, and it is important that you are calm and confident in your role as a nursing assistant. Our different professional roles work as a team to develop interaction and action plans based on BPSD assessments (behavioral and psychological symptoms in dementia) and Senior Alert, which are also regularly evaluated by the team. We work with active contact person support where collaboration with family members is an important part of the work.
