The Education Office in Sollentuna is responsible, on behalf of the Education Committee, for preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. The municipality has a total of approximately 19,000 registered children and students. Our vision is to become Sweden's best school municipality. We are now seeking a coordinator for school attendance monitoring for the authority administration unit who will be a key person in our work to ensure that students receive the education they are entitled to. The unit employs ten case handlers including preschool coordinators, upper secondary school coordinators, school legal adviser, administrative specialist, case handler for school applications, and school transportation handler. Team members have diverse educational backgrounds and work experience, and all complement each other, resulting in the unit having broad expertise within the Education Committee's areas of responsibility. The unit works in teams where possible. Job Responsibilities As coordinator, you are responsible for the municipality's school attendance monitoring and work with authority administration according to the Education Act. You investigate absence cases via the municipality's e-service, follow up reports from school principals and headmasters, and ensure that schools fulfill their responsibilities. The role also includes handling other types of cases such as supplementary allowances. The main assignment for this position is to work as coordinator to maintain the Education Committee's school attendance monitoring. We are now recruiting three determined and skilled administrative case officers for our guardianship supervision unit. The guardianship supervision unit reports to the Guardianship Board in Norrort and currently covers four municipalities: Sigtuna, Upplands-Väsby, Vallentuna, and Sollentuna. Sollentuna Municipality serves as both the host municipality and workplace for the board. As of year-end, Sundbyberg City will join the collaboration with the Guardianship Board in Norrort. Combined with current legislative changes, we are expanding our team with several new administrative case officers. The guardianship supervision unit's mission is to supervise guardians, administrators, and trustees, and to investigate the need for such measures when applications are received. The role also includes recruiting guardians and administrators. Duties As an administrative case officer, your primary responsibility will be supervising guardians, administrators, and trustees. RESPONSIBILITIES We now welcome you as a medical secretary who wants to become part of the Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Unit! The position is located at the outpatient clinic in Ängelholm. As a medical secretary with us, you are responsible, together with your colleagues, for the administrative part of the unit. The work is varied and includes, among other things, medical record writing, referral handling, diagnosis registration, reception work, appointment scheduling, and mail and phone handling. You work independently within your area of responsibility while contributing your administrative expertise to the team's shared work. The role involves close collaboration with various professional groups and also offers good opportunities for knowledge exchange within the entire unit. Within the Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Unit, we are approximately 25 medical secretaries working with common work methods, management, and targeted documentation to create high patient safety, quality, and close collaboration between our units. We know that a good balance between work and leisure is important. Therefore, we offer the possibility of remote work based on the unit's needs. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with education in health and medical administration (80 KY-credits or 400 YH-credits), or equivalent training as a medical secretary. The position also requires good knowledge of both medical terminology and Swedish, both spoken and written. You also have good computer skills, and we consider it an advantage if you have knowledge of Melior, MedSpeech, and/or Pasis.
