Are you a certified after-school program teacher who wants to combine your passion for after-school pedagogy with teaching visual arts or technology? Your Assignment This is a full-time position (vacation relief position) involving a combined role where you both teach during the school day and work in the after-school program. Your main responsibilities include: Teaching: You are responsible for visual arts instruction for grades 4–5 and technology for grade 5. You plan, implement, and assess instruction based on the curriculum. Pedagogical Responsibility at After-School: You have overall pedagogical responsibility for your after-school department. Together with your colleagues, you lead, develop, and ensure quality in the after-school program's activities so that they stimulate students' development and learning. Relationship Building: You create a safe, meaningful, and inclusive environment for students throughout their entire school day and maintain good collaboration with classroom teachers and guardians. Your Profile We are seeking someone who is a certified after-school program teacher with credentials to teach visual arts, technology, or both subjects. You have confident leadership skills and a strong ability to structure both goal-driven instruction and the after-school program's more flexible activities. You are creative, resourceful, and passionate about developing the after-school program's pedagogical mission. You are a team player who readily collaborates, builds strong relationships, and communicates effectively with students, colleagues, and guardians.
