Brageskolan is Sollentuna municipality's shared resource school. The school is located in Rotebro, near commuter trains and green areas. The school currently has 104 students in grades 1–9, and our after-school program is divided into two departments. Job Responsibilities We are seeking an assistant principal who wants to be part of continuing the development of Brageskolan into one of Sweden's best resource schools. Here you will be an important part of the leadership where we work close to operations with a focus on clarity, results, and warmth. In this role, you will be responsible for leading staff and operations. You will drive the pedagogical work and actively contribute to the development of the entire school. The role includes staff allocation and scheduling as a natural part. You will also be an active part of collaboration and lead meetings in various contexts. The school is undergoing a transformation process, which is why flexibility, organizational skills, and leadership are important qualities. Qualifications We are looking for someone with experience as a school leader and preferably with understanding of and knowledge about resource schools. You have a teaching degree or other education that we find equivalent. It is a merit if you have started or completed the state principal education program, and we also see it as an asset if you have worked in a multicultural environment and have experience with budget work. You are passionate about the target group and skilled at creating sustainable collaborations and relationships with employees, students, and guardians. Your ability to take initiative and drive development to achieve goals and results is central, while you can also take a strategic perspective. Your leadership is clear, you are self-directed in your leadership role, and you possess personal maturity. In your leadership, you have the ability to inspire and motivate your employees on the path toward the goal. As a leader, you are confident, consistent, and warm.
