We are seeking a committed mobile youth recreation leader for the Youth Unit. In this role, you will be an important part of creating safety, community, and meaningful activities for children and young people aged 13-17 years. With us, you will work closely with young people, build relationships, and contribute to shaping an operation where participation and influence are central.
As a Mobile Youth Recreation Leader, you will work both outreach-based and with targeted activities. You will be an important part of the municipality's goal to prevent vulnerability and contribute to ensuring that Sollentuna has no vulnerable areas by 2030. A central part of the role is collaboration. You maintain close dialogue with social services, schools, police, guardians, and civil society. Working hours are varied and include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Qualifications
Experience working with young people, preferably in vulnerable areas
Pedagogical methods that promote participation
Activity-based youth recreation leadership
Youth recreation leader education or other education we deem equivalent
Express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish

The Youth Unit in Sollentuna operates youth centers and safety centers for children and young people aged 7–17 years. We work based on needs and knowledge, with a focus on safety, development, and meaningful activities. The municipality's goal is that no areas shall be classified as vulnerable by 2030, which makes collaboration and safety-building work central.
