Now we're looking for an operations manager who wants to develop Storsjöcupen and create unforgettable experiences for the next generation. About the Job As operations manager, you have overall responsibility for Storsjöcupen from the initial planning to the final whistle. You lead the operations year-round and ensure that every cup is a well-organized, safe, and memorable experience for players, coaches, volunteers, and visitors. The role is both strategic and operational. You lead a team of 18 people with responsibilities across Storsjöcupen plus an office with one full-time employee. In addition, you coordinate a large number of volunteers and staff before and during the cup. You report to the chairman and a board composed of representatives from IFK Östersund, Ope IF, and Frösö IF. One day you work on development, budgets, and partnerships; the next day you solve practical issues around accommodations, transportation, or events. You have many contact points and build long-term relationships with clubs, municipalities, schools, partners, and the business community in both Sweden and Norway. The position is based in Östersund and is a full-time role (100%). In this role, you are responsible for: Leading the planning, implementation, and development of Storsjöcupen. Coordinating employees, volunteers, and partners. Managing budgets, operations, and results. Developing the cup's supporting programs and participant experience.
