You will be part of Eltel's team in Östersund but work out in the field where the projects are located. If you live closer to a current project, there is an opportunity to work from home, which provides a flexible and efficient working day. The position is a permanent full-time employment that begins with a 6-month probationary period directly at Eltel. Start date is by agreement. Responsibilities As an electrical technician you will work with new connections, commissioning, service, maintenance and reconstruction within local networks. You will primarily work with underground cable and overhead line systems in the voltage range 0.4–36 kV. The role involves considerable personal responsibility and you are expected to independently plan and carry out work in the field while ensuring that work is performed in accordance with safety regulations. Your responsibilities include: Cable laying, cable splicing and termination Assembly of cable cabinets and work in substations Commissioning and connection of systems Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electricity distribution networks Documentation and reporting in digital systems We are Looking for You Who Have experience working in electricity distribution and feel confident independently performing work within local networks. Experience working in electricity distribution (underground cable and/or overhead line) Knowledge of ESA and electrical safety regulations Ability to read and understand technical drawings B-class driving license Good computer skills and experience with digital reporting Meritorious: Work while traveling Fall protection training CPR training We believe that your personal qualities are crucial for how well you will thrive in the role at Eltel.
