Work as a treatment pedagogue means being stable support in the youth's daily life. As a treatment pedagogue, you work both awake nights and sleeping on-call according to schedule. During awake nights, you are responsible for routine and unforeseen tasks, such as providing support to youth who need help during the night. During sleeping on-call, you are on standby and may be awakened if needed to support the awake staff. Regardless of role, you contribute to safety, calm, and security for the youth.
