The Support and Care Section is responsible for municipal services for individuals with various types of physical and mental disabilities. Our section operates residential facilities, residential support, day activities, personal assistance, accompaniment, and more. The immediate team consists of a section manager, nine unit managers, and three administrative assistants. The administrative assistants and unit managers work in shared offices, which creates excellent conditions for collaboration and collegial learning. You will answer questions from managers and employees in these areas and need to have good knowledge of laws and agreements to provide proper support. In the staffing area, you handle vacancies, which means you manage sick leave notifications where needed and book our pool resources in operations as required. Scheduling involves maintaining existing work schedules and actively updating them, plus creating sick leave schedules. We currently use Heroma for our temporary staff booking and scheduling. Other common tasks include finance work such as invoice handling and ordering, time reporting for assistance to the Social Insurance Agency, management of client fees, mail handling, taking minutes at meetings, and other typical administrative tasks. You also have an active role in environmental awareness and developing work methods, contributing ideas, and managing our documents in the management system. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in human resources administration or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Previous work in health and care or similar operations is an asset as it gives you good understanding of the assignment. About Kriminalvården Kriminalvården is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking additional staff members. The Halmstad operations area consists of the prison and detention facility in Halmstad, which is expected to open in spring/summer 2027. Currently, the prison has 117 places for male inmates in security class 2 and six places for female inmates in security class 3. When the detention facility in Halmstad opens, an additional 104 places for detained persons will be added.
