Our acute care beds have an intake of four orthopedic patients who, after hip surgery, are moved to Geriatrics for recovery/rehabilitation. Our nurses work in teams consisting of one nurse and three nursing assistants. The multidisciplinary team consists of a nurse, physician, nursing assistant, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, and social worker. We also have close collaboration with Rehabilitation Medicine, which is located on the same floor as Geriatrics.
