Your work tasks Your primary task is to provide support to students in grades F-3. You are present throughout the entire school day, and your role is to be a trustworthy, motivating adult who helps the student participate in instruction, maintain focus, and feel included both in the classroom, during breaks, and in leisure activities. Together with the responsible teachers, you create structure and clarity by preparing and using visual supports and time supports. You help the student understand the day's content, set clear boundaries, and provide support in both schoolwork and social situations. You contribute to a safe school environment by motivating, supporting, and guiding the student through various activities during the day. The assignment also includes being a natural link in daily communication between home and school. Your qualifications We are looking for someone with an approved upper secondary education and experience working with children and young people. It is beneficial if you are trained as a child care worker, student assistant, teaching assistant, or have other relevant training, as well as experience working with students in NPF and are familiar with low-arousal approaches. Experience working with children with diabetes is an advantage for this position. As a person, you are secure and stable with good self-awareness, and you have the ability to adapt your approach based on the situation. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and find it easy to organize your work. You are flexible, collaborate well with others, and build relationships in a natural and trustworthy way. With your pedagogical insight, you can adapt your working method to the individual's needs. This is a fixed-term employment that runs from 2026-08-24 to 2027-06-18. During the interview, you will need to verify your citizenship.
