Basic Training This is an important role for the Swedish Transport Administration, and we invest in you with internal training at the Transport Administration School in Ängelholm combined with practical experience at your local Traffic Control Center. You don't need to have any prior knowledge of railroads. The training, starting in January, takes on average 6 months, with a total of approximately 5 weeks held in Ängelholm (with mandatory attendance and overnight accommodation). Travel to other locations may also occur. You will start with a 6-month probationary employment that transitions to a permanent position, provided everything goes well. Your role As a cylindrical grinder with us, you primarily work with precision grinding of components for our drilling systems. The role is varied and includes everything from programming and setup to finished detail, where quality and accuracy are in focus. In your daily work, you operate CNC cylindrical grinding machines from Studer and work with both prototypes and series production. You are responsible for ensuring that work is performed with high precision through measurement and quality control, while contributing to development work, daily team meetings, and improvement work together with the team. Work is primarily based on planned work orders with a strong focus on structure, collaboration, and delivery accuracy. What you bring with you We are looking for someone who is meticulous, technically interested, and thrives in a role where precision and problem-solving are a natural part of everyday work.
