Conference Host

Permanent, part-time 50% Start date - as soon as possible We are now seeking a solution-oriented and meticulous conference and catering host who will coordinate orders and deliveries with a focus on service excellence and teamwork. In this role, you will have a central function and be our face toward clients, organizers, guests, and external partners, which is why it's especially important that you maintain a very high level of service. The position includes managing our conference lunches and coffee break orders for our conference rooms, as well as setting up and ensuring that the conference rooms are clean and well-maintained. You will work together with our Event and Conference Manager to coordinate food and beverage delivery with the kitchen staff, attend events and orders, step in wherever needed regardless of what tasks arise, ensure that the venue, furniture, and equipment are properly arranged and functioning, and assist with responding to conference and catering inquiries when needed. About Restaurant Andrummet Restaurant Andrummet is an employee cafeteria and restaurant located in Kungsträdgården in Stockholm. We serve approximately 900 lunches daily, offering both hot dishes and café options such as salad buffet, pies, and hot sandwiches. In addition, we have an active conference and event business where we arrange everything from small gatherings to seated dinners and evening events as well as lunches and coffee break orders. Qualifications and Security Requirements Since the restaurant is located within a protected facility, the following are required: Swedish citizenship Criminal record check without remarks Signing of a confidentiality agreement Who Are You? You are at least 18 years old You have completed upper secondary education You have at least five years of experience in conference work You have previous experience with serving and table setting You enjoy planning and structuring your work efficiently With your positive attitude, you take responsibility for maintaining a high level of service throughout the day You understand the importance of professional and flexible customer service You have very good administrative skills and are able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously You are meticulous and work well both collaboratively and independently You can take initiative and enjoy fast-paced days You speak and write Swedish and English fluently You are proficient with computers and have good knowledge of Office365 Experience with invoicing and reporting is a plus About Compass Group We are part of Compass Group, a world-leading provider of food, beverage, and support services.
