About the Job In this role, you lead and develop work within New Product Development (NPD) and ensure that product development projects are delivered according to agreed scope, timeline, and budget. You drive capacity planning, forecasting work, and project management to ensure that the right resources and competencies are in place throughout the development process. As NPD Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that new products meet technical regulations and that Micropower's process framework is continuously developed. You have budget and KPI responsibility for the department and delegated responsibility for the work environment. The role also includes salary setting, employee conversations, and competence development. You collaborate closely with both internal functions within development, product, and project as well as external customers, suppliers, and partners in certification and technology. You will have a central role in further developing a strong and future-oriented development organization, where you as a leader create conditions for high quality in projects and a team that thrives, grows, and performs together. You'll step into a competent team of approximately 15 people, where several highly skilled and experienced experts are included – an exciting and developmental leadership challenge. Education and Experience: Masters or Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical Power, Mechatronics, or equivalent field At least 5 years of documented management experience with direct personnel responsibility within a technology or product development organization Good understanding of power electronics (chargers, converters, or similar) Current experience leading multidisciplinary development teams within HW, SW, mechanics, and testing Solid experience with project delivery in hardware-related product development, preferably within power electronics or related technical fields Experience leading development within stage-gate and agile project models Good understanding of technical regulations, product requirements, and relevant standards Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written We also value: If you have a project-oriented background, such as project manager or in a PMO function, this is an advantage Who You Are You are a present and engaged leader who creates clarity, direction, and security in development work and ensures delivery.
