Do you want to contribute to improving people's health? As a biomedical systems developer, you will work in Dr. Mikael Benson's research group for medical digital twins. The research group is part of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the Institute for Clinical Science, Intervention and Technology (CLINTEC). Your work will involve developing systems medicine data methods for various aspects of high-resolution identification of disease mechanisms, biomarkers, and drug targets. Your Role As a biomedical systems developer, you will work in a multidisciplinary project aimed at identifying disease mechanisms, biomarkers, and drug targets for early cancer diagnosis and prevention. Your responsibilities include developing and applying machine learning and statistical methods for such mechanisms, biomarkers, and chemically evaluating drug targets in collaboration with Dr. Benson, as well as compiling data for publications and presentations. You will also collaborate with researchers in Sweden and internationally, and participate in various project meetings within the framework of EU projects. Who Are You? Requirements Master's or doctoral degree in some form of computational science Experience with single-cell analyses including spatial analyses Meritorious Deep learning, machine learning As a person, you are self-driven and capable of taking your own initiative in your work. You work in a structured manner and can simultaneously switch between different tasks efficiently. You see solutions rather than problems and can through creativity and innovative thinking contribute to solutions and development of the work. Since our research environment is international and the project involves close collaboration with several other research groups and clinics, very good knowledge of English, in both speech and writing, is a prerequisite for employment.
