Nurse at Psychiatric Eating Disorder Clinic

Helping people achieve better health is one of the most important missions you can have. At Södra Älvsborgs Hospital (SÄS), we are 3700 employees across 120 different professions working together to make a difference every day. With us you will find security, career opportunities, forward-thinking values, and a strong sense of community. About this position Do you want to make a difference for our young patients with eating disorders? We are now expanding our treatment offerings for patients under 18 years of age who need eating disorder care. We have received funding to build up family day care starting in fall 2026. Would you like to be part of building up the family day care program together with the rest of our pediatric team? If yes, or if you'd like to learn more, apply for this position. As a nurse at the Psychiatric Eating Disorder Clinic, you will be part of our pediatric team. The clinic is age-inclusive; we treat people with eating disorders regardless of age. Staff are divided into a pediatric team and an adult team, but we collaborate and support each other across the entire clinic. Currently, the pediatric team includes one nurse, one childcare worker, two social workers, one psychologist, and one physician. The existing pediatric team will be expanded with two positions: this nursing role and an additional social worker position. We also have access to a dietitian who works in the adult team as well. Your main focus will be patients under 18 years of age who need day care treatment for eating disorder issues. The day care program is intended to be a bridge between outpatient care and inpatient care, for when outpatient treatment alone is not sufficient and patients need extended support without overnight hospitalization. We work in therapeutic interventions based on the FBT treatment method in individual therapy and in family day care. It is independent work with the team as your support. As a nurse with us, you will also conduct somatic assessments and medical follow-ups. You may be responsible for telephone counseling and conducting assessments for new patients. You will serve as a primary contact for a portion of the clinic's patients, maintaining individual therapeutic relationships. Social Worker - Financial Assistance

Strömstad Municipality is a small and close-knit organization where everyone is important and works together to deliver the best possible service. Within the social administration, we work together to enable people to live independent, secure, and meaningful lives based on their own circumstances. Every day, we create security, quality of life, and service for those we serve. The social administration is in an important development phase. We are facing major changes related to the new social services act, the transition to Good and Nearby Care, and growing demand for support, care, and services. To succeed, we need to develop our working methods, use our resources wisely, and at the same time uphold quality, legal security, and trust. Within financial assistance, our main mission is to support individuals in achieving self-sufficiency through employment or studies. As a smaller unit, you will have a broad and varied role as a social worker. The unit also includes the employment office and integration services. Financial assistance collaborates with the employment office, and our common goal is to create an efficient and cohesive path to self-sufficiency—where each individual receives the right support. We work closely together with shared goals and place great emphasis on collaboration between the different parts of the unit. We are now seeking a dedicated social worker who can strengthen our team and make a difference as one of our social workers moves on to other tasks. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Work as a social worker involves investigating, assessing, and making decisions on financial assistance in accordance with applicable legislation. The work involves significant client contact and close collaboration with the municipality's employment office and other cooperation partners, both internally and externally. We work to promote social change through a solution-focused approach. The goal is to work together with our clients to find and develop solutions that strengthen their own resources and enable self-sufficiency. The work is also characterized by lawful authority management and individual assessments. In addition to financial assistance, you also handle applications for social contracts, priority housing, estate notifications, and investigations of incorrect payments. QUALIFICATIONS We seek you with a degree in social work or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience working with financial assistance or other work within social services is a merit, but we also welcome you who are newly graduated and have a genuine commitment to people in vulnerable life situations. Work within financial support involves a high work tempo and requires documentation, legal security, and good quality. It requires that you have a good ability to create structure, work systematically, and be thorough. You will work in a team with shared responsibility, but also need to be able to drive your work independently and in a structured manner. You need to be able to set boundaries while maintaining a good relationship with your clients. You are an empathetic and positive person with high sense of responsibility. As a colleague, you are open and flexible and contribute to a good work environment.
