At our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Kristianstad, we work in an interdisciplinary team around the patient. The team consists of ICU nurses, nursing assistants, physicians, and physiotherapists. We strive for everyone to work within their professional role and expertise with the patient's best interests in focus. We have approximately 35 ICU nurses, 45 nursing assistants, 30 physicians, and one physiotherapist. The Intensive Care Unit has seven care beds and admits approximately 600 patients every year. We actively follow up after intensive care and have a well-functioning mobile intensive care unit (MIG operations). At the ICU in Kristianstad, we provide qualified intensive care where critically ill patients receive advanced treatment. On our unit, we treat patients of all ages and from all medical specialties, which makes the work varied and inspiring. The unit cares for patients after trauma, cardiac arrest, with severe infections, septic shock, and multi-organ failure. The operations are high-tech, resource-intensive, and only a few percent are planned. 2 position(s). WORK DUTIES We are now seeking additional specialist nurses in intensive care. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare and have specialist training in intensive care. Swedish language proficiency at minimum level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is also a requirement for the position. Previous experience in intensive care is considered meritorious. We are looking for someone with good organizational skills, a holistic perspective, and who can prioritize independently in your work when an acute situation arises.
