Maglehill is a newly developed neighborhood located in the western part of Höör. Here is our newly built special housing facility for people with cognitive impairment and dementia. In the surrounding area, there is a residential area and a newly built preschool, school grades 1-6, and a sports hall. The distance to the train station is approximately 850 meters. The special housing facility Maglehill opened in January 2024. Maglehill has four units, with two opening onto the garden and two on the upper floor. We are seeking a dedicated employee for one of our units on the upper floor, as a current employee has chosen to work in another department. We work with each resident's sense of coherence and maintain a function-preserving approach. Preserving abilities as much as possible gives residents a greater sense of autonomy. JOB DUTIES You will actively work during your shifts for the resident's well-being based on their current condition. The work involves standard care and service tasks within municipal operations, such as personal care, medication delegation, and active documentation in our documentation and management system. We want to identify your personal strengths, commitment, and competence and utilize them through assigning areas of responsibility and ambassador roles. What are you most passionate about in care and support for people with cognitive impairment? Here you work closely with nurses and rehabilitation personnel, and we actively work with BPSD to see the whole person when making decisions about interventions. For us, it is important to actively participate and contribute to a good work environment where we help each other with daily tasks. Something that is valued is the ability to organize your work together with colleagues, and we want you to take overall responsibility for the residents living in the unit where you work. QUALIFICATIONS Completed nursing care education at upper secondary level or equivalent, with a protected professional title as nursing assistant, experience, or other education that the employer finds equivalent. Additional training in dementia, psychiatry, or other specialist knowledge is an asset. Experience from elderly care is also an asset. It is important that you are confident in your professional role. Good Swedish language skills in speaking and writing, and good computer skills. A plus is if you are positive about working with digital aids. Have a desire and commitment to developing care for the elderly. You need the ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and be responsive to residents' needs. You need the ability to organize your work and plan work together with your colleagues. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration, start date: By agreement. Work schedule: Shift work. The position will be filled provided that required political decisions are made and that it is not needed for internal use.
