The Technical and Property Management division is responsible for the municipality's technical operations. This includes, for example, construction, installation, and maintenance. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The water and wastewater department is currently facing major investments and reinvestments. As a project manager for water and wastewater facilities, you will work in a group of approximately 15 colleagues within operations. It is together with them, and with the support of our renewal plan that extends at least 10 years into the future, that you will shape your projects. To thrive in this role, you are a person who takes responsibility, works structurally, and drives your own work forward. You have good collaboration skills and are confident in dialogue with both operations and contractors. Since many of the projects are carried out in active facilities, it is important that you are attentive and solution-oriented. You also have the ability to build trust and hold processes together, as well as manage multiple projects in different stages simultaneously. As a project manager for water and wastewater facilities, you have overall responsibility for driving projects forward from planning to implementation. You are responsible for ensuring that timelines, work environment, and budget are maintained, and you ensure that work is carried out in accordance with applicable agreements and legal requirements. Your tasks span planning of preventive and corrective maintenance, reinvestments, and future renewal needs, including associated budgeting work. You also work actively with tender documents, lead construction and project meetings, and coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
