About the Position As a production engineer, you will become part of a production engineering team that works closely with both development and production. The role is broad and varied, where you will work through the entire industrialization process from early planning and introduction of new products to handover and further development of existing production. You will have an important role in ensuring that new products and processes can be produced in an efficient and quality-assured manner. As projects develop, you will drive technical issues, coordinate activities, and be a natural link between several different functions within the operation. Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: • Participate in planning and industrialization of new products. • Ensure that products are adapted for manufacturing. • Drive and coordinate technical projects related to production. • Participate in investments and implementation of new production equipment. • Work closely with production, design, quality, and procurement. • Work with continuous improvements and development of production processes. • Support production after handover and ensure a stable production environment. We are Looking for You • A university or college degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or equivalent field. • A strong technical interest and preferably experience in production engineering or manufacturing industry. • Understanding of industrialization and production processes. • Experience in project management or project work is a merit. • Familiarity with ERP systems. • Experience with CAD, preferably CATIA, is a plus. • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
