We're now looking for multiple Survey Technicians who want to join us in building for the future. About the Role: We're looking for several detail-oriented and committed Survey Technicians who want to be an important part of our team. In this role, you'll perform measurements, quality assure data, and ensure that our projects have an accurate and reliable foundation. You'll work both in the field and in the office with data processing and analysis. Most of our assignments are located in Falun and Borlänge, as well as within a radius of approximately 100 km around Avesta and Gävle. We have offices in both Horndal and Borlänge, and we also offer the possibility of working from home. A company vehicle is included to facilitate your work. Your Main Responsibilities: Perform surveying, staking, and control measurements on projects Process, analyze, and document survey data Work with modern measuring instruments such as total stations, GPS/GNSS, laser scanners, and drones Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other functions on projects Ensure that measurements and documentation comply with applicable standards Contribute to the development of procedures and digital workflows Your Profile: What we value most are your personal qualities – they make the difference in everyday work. To thrive and succeed in this role, we'd like to see that you have a background in surveying, geodesy, land surveying, construction, or have gained equivalent experience in another way. If you've also worked with measuring instruments and software such as Trimble, Leica, Topcon, or AutoCAD, that's an extra plus, as is a good understanding of digital workflows. You have good computer skills, a B-class driving license, and feel comfortable communicating in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. As a person, you're detail-oriented and quality-conscious, and you have a natural ability to find solutions when challenges arise. You enjoy taking responsibility and planning your workday, but you're also a team player who appreciates collaboration and building good relationships. With your communication skills, you contribute to positive teamwork. GävleDala Mätfix is a surveying consultant with a service area in Dalarna, Gästrikland, Uppland, and Västmanland. From mountains to sea, we offer comprehensive surveying services for both small projects and larger, more complex assignments. We work with all types of geodetic surveying assignments. Everything from construction and infrastructure staking, to drone surveying of large areas, down to measurement of machine parts in industry to tenths of a millimeter. Our clients include construction and infrastructure companies, industries, mining companies, municipalities, and authorities. We work with everything from control measurements of harbors in the Baltic Sea, to inspection and adjustment of lift systems in the mountains, mapping of the deepest mines, quantity verification of road, water/sewer, and dam projects, to staking of building frames and embedded elements.
