The Position
Would you like to help create something new? Clustera already works successfully with Career Counseling in several places across the country. Now we are establishing operations in Kristianstad and we are looking for you who want to be part of it from the start. Here you get the chance to combine operational work with the opportunity to influence and develop a business in its startup phase.
You will work with counseling within our Career Counseling program, which is a commission from the Swedish Public Employment Service. The purpose is to give our participants, who are job seekers, support and help in making well-considered choices to find sustainable paths to education and work.
As a study and career counselor, you will be part of a team working with career counseling. Your task is to support and guide participants, based on their circumstances, toward realistic study and career choices. During career counseling, they become aware of their competencies and abilities and what they need to develop to achieve their goals. You will work with participants both individually and in groups, where you lead various group activities.
The position includes informing participants about different educational paths and professional fields and supporting them on the path to suitable and sustainable education and work. Together with the participant, you build a realistic career plan that describes the steps needed to reach the final goal: employment.
Your work tasks include:
Responsibility for the cohesive counseling process.
Conducting mapping interviews, individual counseling sessions, group guidance, workshops, lectures, and learning initiatives.
Identifying the participant's needs, experience, competencies, and interests.
Creating clear and realistic career plans together with participants.
Planning, documenting, and coordinating.
Collaborating with other study and career counselors and supervisors.
Creating and maintaining good contact with companies and educational providers.
We are looking for you who are driven, self-directed, goal-oriented, structured, and quality-conscious. It is important that you are curious, empathetic, creative, relationship-focused, and can adapt to different people and situations. In addition, you are accustomed to gathering information, have good knowledge of today's educational fields, and have experience using digital tools.
There is a clear set of rules to follow, as the position is a commission from the Swedish Public Employment Service. Therefore, it is important that we work according to the same structure and procedures, and that we do it together as a unified team.
The position is full-time and on-site at our office in Kristianstad. There may also be an opportunity to work part-time.
Your qualifications
You are a qualified study and career counselor and are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
An exam certificate must be provided.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Additional languages beyond Swedish and English are merits.
