Elderly care in Umeå municipality aims to be a resource in proximity and collaboration that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life. Väst-Teg's care and residential housing is a newly built municipal residence located in Väst-Teg. The residence opened in fall 2024. In total, there are 120 apartments distributed across 12 units, with each unit consisting of 10 apartments. Each unit has its own spacious balcony.
