The Tyringe home care area is divided into two sections, NORTH and SOUTH. Tyringe SOUTH consists of approximately 40 employees and our base is at Hemgården. The geographic area covered by Tyringe SOUTH includes Tyringe village, south of road 21, including Finja, Skyrup, and Matteröd. Here's what we offer you! We are seeking two nursing assistants for Tyringe South—one for day shift and one for evening shift, both including weekend duty. Working as a nursing assistant in home care means you meet our care recipients in their own homes. The work is practical, varied, and sometimes physically demanding. You move between care recipients, often by bicycle or car, and help with both care and services in the home. The work requires that you can climb stairs, bend, lift, and sometimes work in tight spaces. There may also be heavier tasks, such as cleaning, carrying groceries from shopping, or helping care recipients transfer between bed and wheelchair. You follow basic hygiene routines, wear work clothes, and maintain a respectful and professional approach toward care recipients, colleagues, family members, and other people we meet in our work. Here's what you'll be working with: Assisting with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing, and toilet visits Preparing or warming simple meals and serving food As part of the role, you will administer medications, which means you need to receive delegation from licensed personnel Assisting with cleaning, laundry, bed-making, and sorting waste Doing shopping and accompanying clients on errands Providing social support, conversation, and walks Documenting in digital systems and reporting using SBAR to ensure good quality and safe care Collaborating with colleagues and unit managers, as well as nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists when needed Being a contact person or primary care contact and planning with the individual how services should be delivered Hässleholm Municipality wants to utilize all your skills and offers full-time employment with the option to request your desired hours. You are an educated nursing assistant. You have good computer skills and strong Swedish language skills in reading, speaking, and writing. We appreciate if you have experience in care work, but it is not required. To be able to get around the area, you need to be able to cycle and have a class B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle.
