Duties: Storumans Municipality is seeking staff for our elderly care services in Tärnaby, 130 kilometers from Storuman and 20 kilometers from Hemavan. Work is performed at Stefansgården, a specialized residence with a dementia focus with six places, and at Granhöjden, a short-term residence with two places as well as acute care spots. Work is scheduled day shift (7:00-14:15) combined with evening shift (14:00-21:30), on weekdays and weekends according to schedule. Heavy lifting occurs in the work, and we provide training in how to perform this as ergonomically as possible. Qualifications: Education and previous experience of similar work within elderly care and LSS is advantageous. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You should be positive, patient, and have a commitment to the task, as well as good cooperation skills and ability to take own initiative. Being able to speak and understand Swedish is important to us. We have a language requirement equivalent to passing grades in Swedish from grade nine. In case of any uncertainty, we will conduct a written language test. Before a contract is signed, you must have submitted a certificate from the criminal record register, which you can order from the Police Authority. Employment Type: Permanent employment.
