Hospitals in the West is an administration within the Västra Götaland Region and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. About the Workplace We are part of anesthesia, operating, and intensive care operations. Kungälv Hospital is a trauma receiving hospital and conducts both acute and planned activities within orthopedics, surgery, urology, endoscopy, and cardiology. The operations include both major and minor surgeries, with a large portion being acute cases. Approximately 95 employees work in the operating department, consisting of anesthesia and operating nurses, nursing assistants, operating coordinators, and sterile technicians. We staff eight operating rooms, two of which are acute operating rooms. We now need to expand our team and look forward to welcoming a new colleague! About the Position We offer stimulating work as an anesthesia nurse with varied and developmental tasks. In your daily work, the department is supported by unit managers and your introduction will be customized individually and planned in consultation with your unit manager, supervisor, and the training coordinator in the department. Your Profile You have a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You enjoy that no two days are the same and view challenges as stimulating. You have the ability to make quick decisions and handle stressful situations in a calm and methodical manner. You work with quality awareness and high patient safety. We would prefer if you have worked several years in your profession and have experience from different types of operations and specialties. We are seeking a licensed nurse with specialist training in anesthesia care. We place great emphasis on your collaboration skills and your good treatment of both patients and colleagues. Work Hours You are comfortable with varying work hours as the position includes day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
