Duties As a special education teacher at Hultsbergsskolan, you will be part of the school's student welfare team where collaborative learning and cooperation between student welfare professionals are in focus. You will conduct assessments, provide support, and document information regarding students in need of adaptations and special support in your work team. The position includes collaborating with the school's other teachers to teach students in various configurations such as full class, smaller teaching groups, and individually. You are expected to have an active role at the school regarding student welfare work of a promoting and preventive nature with a focus on accessible learning environments and a language- and knowledge-developing approach. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with a special education teacher degree, preferably in mathematics. As a person, you work independently and structurally with the ability to plan, implement, and follow up on your work with student development in focus. You are persistent in your work and have the patience to provide long-term support to students through various interventions and development processes. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working closely with colleagues, the student welfare team, and guardians to create the best conditions for students' learning and goal achievement. Through your relationship-building approach, you build trusting and professional relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We value that you contribute to a positive, inclusive, and developing climate in both teaching and work teams. With your pedagogical insight, you can adapt support measures and teaching strategies based on students' different needs and conditions.
