Your Assignment As a Development Leader within Access and Collection, you will be part of the Signals Intelligence division. The division works with the collection, processing, and analysis of intelligence material and delivers reports and other services to the agency's clients. In your role as Development Leader for Access and Collection, you will have a central role in developing and strengthening the organization's capabilities in signals intelligence collection. With primary focus on satellite collection and secondary focus on cable collection, you work closely with operations to understand needs, identify development opportunities, and translate them into concrete solutions that create value today and build for the future. You drive capability development based on the intelligence operations' needs and lead the work through collaboration and influence rather than through direct personnel responsibility. In the role, you serve as operational system owner, requirements manager, and commissioner of technical development, management, and operations. You participate in or lead steering groups, studies, and development assignments, contribute expertise within satellite and cable collection, and participate in technology and methodology development within various intelligence areas. You develop and maintain a broad network of contacts, monitor budget and operational value, and ensure that systems within your area of responsibility meet applicable requirements and accreditation processes. By creating alignment between operational needs and technical possibilities, you become an important driving force in developing future capabilities within Access and Collection.
