We are now seeking substitute teachers for preschool, grades F–3 and after-school care, as well as grades 4–9 for the fall term. You can choose to work in one or more of our operations based on your interests and experience. As a substitute teacher, you are an important part of the municipality's welfare mission and contribute to creating security, learning, and a positive daily life for our children and students. Through our Vikariebanken system, you control which days you can work. This makes the work flexible and easy to combine with studies or other activities. WORK TASKS When regular staff are absent, our children and students need a reliable and dedicated substitute. We offer work in the following areas: • Preschool In preschool, you work with children aged 1–5 years. You help create a safe, educational, and stimulating environment by participating in play, activities, and daily routines together with the children and other staff. • Preschool class, primary grades, and after-school care In grades F–3 and after-school care, you work with children aged approximately 6–10 years. You support students during the school day and in after-school care by contributing to a safe and positive learning environment. Tasks may include assisting with instruction, activities, and breaks. • Middle and upper secondary grades In middle and upper secondary grades, you work with students aged approximately 10–16 years. You support the operations by helping students with their schoolwork, contributing to a focused and safe environment, and following the planning of the regular teacher. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in working with children and young people. To thrive in the role, it is important that you are responsible, confident, and attentive to children's and students' needs. You have good collaboration skills while being able to work independently when the situation requires it. As a substitute teacher, you need to be flexible and proactive, since workdays can vary and assignments are sometimes assigned with short notice. You have a positive attitude and contribute to creating a safe and stimulating environment for children and students. We value that you can build good relationships with children, students, guardians, and colleagues. Requirements for the position are a completed upper secondary education and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience working with children and young people, relevant education, and a Class B driver's license are merits. In our operations, everyone who is to be employed to work with children and young people must, according to law (2000:873), present a valid certificate from the Police's criminal record register.
