Elder care in Umeå Municipality aims to be a resource that, through proximity and collaboration, frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life. Väst-Teg Care and Residential Facility is a municipally owned newly built residence located in Väst-Teg. The facility opened in fall 2024. In total, there are 120 apartments distributed across 12 units, with each unit consisting of 10 apartments. Each unit has its own spacious balcony.
