The Specialist Psychiatric Care Team (SPOT) in Sollefteå/Kramfors has 17 employees and is part of the Regional Healthcare Area Psychiatry-Habilitation. SPOT is in an exciting development phase and strives to develop our working methods to improve the quality of care for our citizens. We are looking for someone who enjoys varied and developmental tasks and has a genuine interest in working with psychiatric patients.
We are now looking for a psychiatric nurse who wants to be part of our wonderful team in Sollefteå! The position is a permanent full-time appointment, with start date by agreement.
Job Responsibilities
In your role as a nurse, you will meet patients in need of acute and intensive support. You work independently and are responsible for providing good quality treatment and psychiatric care. We offer support through home visits, clinic visits, and other services.
You participate in rounds and various meetings with care colleagues. Collaboration occurs internally within your own team, with LARO in Sundsvall and the outpatient clinics in Sollefteå and Kramfors. Externally, collaboration primarily occurs with social services, but also with other authorities such as the employment service, social insurance agency, and others.
As a nurse at the clinic, you will carry out:
Routine tasks such as medication management, specimen collection
Support and motivational conversations
Medication adjustments
Monitoring, assessments, and evaluations
Responsibility for patients and follow-up for patients during medication initiation, as well as your own care documentation.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
Is a licensed psychiatric nurse
Has some form of supplementary education in conversation-based therapy such as MI, CBT, DBT, or ÅP
Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
Has a driver's license (Category B)
It is advantageous if you:
Have further education in psychiatry
Have previous experience working within specialist psychiatry
Have experience working with people who have mental illness, addiction, and comorbidity
