About Us
ASIH Södertälje is a growing team of 2 specialist physicians where we now need to recruit an additional specialist physician. We work on behalf of Region Stockholm with patients with complex conditions, often in palliative stages. We work in a multiprofessional team consisting of physicians, unit manager, nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, dietitian, social worker, and nursing assistant.
Our facilities are located next to the commuter train station at Södertälje Centrum.
The Role
As a physician in ASIH, you have overall responsibility for your patients and, together with the unit manager, lead the team.
In your daily work with us, you can expect to:
Work in multiprofessional teams with focus on the patient's circumstances.
Participate in supervision and guidance within palliative care.
Conduct difficult conversations with patients and their loved ones.
Deliver and develop high-quality care in close collaboration with other specialists and the unit manager.

As a physician in ASIH, you will also receive

We are Looking for You if You:
Thrive in a multidisciplinary team and see the value of collaboration across professional boundaries
Have a genuine interest in advanced home care and palliative care
Are confident in your professional role and have a positive, professional patient approach – preferably with a twinkle in your eye
Take own initiatives, are flexible, and contribute to an open, solution-focused work environment
You are a trained specialist physician in geriatrics, oncology, internal medicine, general medicine, or another related specialty, and have good knowledge of pain management, symptom relief, and conversations during life's more difficult stages.
If you also have double specialization in palliative medicine or extensive experience in the field, we see that as a great plus!
Terms of Employment
Employment form: Permanent position, beginning with a 6-month probation period
Scope: Full-time
Start date: By agreement
Salary: Individual salary determination
