Ref: 20261797 The care and housing facilities in Malmö city are organized into five units. We are now seeking a nursing assistant for our resource team at the Havsbris care and housing facility, which belongs to unit 5. As a nursing assistant in the resource group, you will work according to a fixed schedule with day, evening, and weekend shifts. You primarily work evenings on weekdays and work either day or evening shifts every other weekend. Job Responsibilities As a resource nursing assistant, you help and support users with care services based on individual needs and preferences. You will assist users with personal care, medical interventions delegated by a licensed nurse, meal preparation, cleaning, shopping, and laundry. Beyond practical work, you will also document events related to the user and maintain contact with the user's family members. Your work includes providing advice and information, as well as motivating and encouraging users to do as much as possible independently. In daily work, you collaborate with home healthcare, rehabilitation, benefit administrators, and other home care teams. The work also includes medical care tasks delegated by a nurse and documentation in the Life Care system. Qualifications Requirements for the position: Trained nursing assistant with approved grades Proof of protected professional title (nursing assistant) from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare or certificate from employer confirming you held a permanent position as a nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023 Experience in care work Experience working in dementia and/or psychiatry Good digital skills Very good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written Meritorious for the position: Previous experience with LifeCare, Procapita, Flexite, Senior Alert, and/or BPSD We are looking for someone who is responsible, solution-focused, and flexible. You have the ability to reprioritize when needed and handle rapid changes in work.
