Liljeholmen University Primary Care Center is part of the Academic Primary Care Center and provides care, education, development, and research in close collaboration with Karolinska Institutet and other actors within Region Stockholm. About the Position As a psychologist in the child team, you will work with assessment and treatment of children and youth with mild to moderate mental health issues. The work is carried out in collaboration with guardians, colleagues at the primary care center, and when needed, other actors around the child. You will become part of a psychosocial team with psychologists, psychotherapists, and a social worker. This is a temporary position for 1 year with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities The work includes, among other things: - Assessing and treating children and youth with mild to moderate mental health issues. - Conducting structured assessments, counseling, and shorter treatment interventions. - Working with guardian contacts, parental support, and psychoeducation. - When needed, collaborating with schools, child psychiatry services (BUP), and social services; documenting and following up interventions according to current procedures. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with experience in clinical work with children, youth, and their families. You have a good ability to conduct psychological assessments, plan treatment interventions, and work independently within primary care's mission. You express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, and you document in a structured and professional manner.
