If so, we can offer you an exciting position as Unit Manager for Special Housing for Elderly. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to our continued work toward safe, secure, efficient, and equitable care and support for all our users within elderly care in Oxelösund Municipality. Your main responsibility as unit manager includes responsibility for implementing approved support decisions. As unit manager, you lead, organize, and develop operations toward set goals and have direct operational, financial, personnel, and work environment responsibility within your unit.
The position is distributed during daytime, but requires some flexibility in working hours to maintain close management. During on-call hours, the nursing organization is responsible for leading and distributing work if incidents occur.
You will also be part of an innovative management group, led by the Director of Administration together with section heads and other unit managers, development strategists/leaders, and the medically responsible nurse and rehabilitation.
QUALIFICATIONS
You must have a university degree in a relevant field such as social work, social science, behavioral science, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You must have experience working as a manager with budget and personnel and work environment responsibility, as well as experience working in a politically governed organization. Previous management experience within the operational field is meritorious.
As a unit manager, you have many collaboration interfaces, and we therefore place great value on your ability to collaborate and build good relationships with colleagues and employees. Your communicative and operationally close management contributes to creating good conditions for a health-promoting work environment together with your staff.
