We maintain 24/7 readiness at our five fire stations on Blidö, in Norrtälje, Hallstavik, Rimbo, and Älmsta. Our mission to provide rescue services is not only in everyday situations but is also an important part of civil defense. Our prevention mission includes information, advice, and guidance for residents as well as training for students and employees in the municipality. The Fire and Rescue Service is responsible for fire safety inspections and licensing and supervision matters regarding the handling of flammable and explosive materials.
