The Learning Unit is part of the HR Department and is responsible for learning in various formats for both internal and external audiences. About the Position In your role as Lead Instructor for Tullverket's Basic Training in Control, you will work closely with other lead instructors to be responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up/revision of the basic training. Frequent travel to our various headquarters is part of the position. Your ability to collaborate and communicate with many different parties is something we value highly, as is your availability for direct questions and your ability to handle rapid changes. You need to feel comfortable in both digital and physical classrooms. One of our most important tools is our learning platform. We use it to upload materials for all our training programs, whether they take place physically in classrooms or digitally. The Lead Instructor role includes, among other things: • Conduct instruction in both classroom and digital settings. • Develop and update existing materials. • Continuously develop the basic training program. • Plan and schedule instruction. • Dialogue and planning with loaned instructors. • Develop tests and other assessment materials. • Be available to promptly respond to questions from participants. • Assess participants' performance and maintain open dialogue with your direct supervisor. • Communicate both approvals and disapprovals. • Work with and participate in work related to international training matters. Are You the One We're Looking For? We're looking for someone who has: • Upper secondary education with basic eligibility. • Tullverket's basic training with a focus on BB/Control. • Current experience in conducting training for aspirants, including preparatory work, implementation, assessment, and follow-up from a national comprehensive perspective (you should have trained nationally and have good knowledge of the aspirant training's various conditions and its geographical implementation). • Experience in developing training areas relevant to the field. • Experience working within Tullverket's control activities. • Very strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • Good ability to express yourself in English, both verbally and in writing. • Good knowledge of MS Office. • Category B driving license. It is advantageous if you have: • Experience conducting feedback conversations regarding assessments linked to course objectives and personal suitability. • Experience with LMS in the role of instructor. • Experience teaching both in physical classrooms and remotely. • Experience in international work and/or international cooperation within relevant training areas. • Knowledge of working methods with both EU countries and third countries. • Tullverket's aspirant mentor training.
