Kunskapsskolan Spånga is a primary school for grades 4-9 and currently has approximately 620 students. The school was founded in 2005 and is located within walking distance of Spånga station. Our school has satisfied students who enjoy learning and achieve high academic results. For each student to reach their full potential, we need skilled teachers with great commitment to student success. At Kunskapsskolan, we always place the individual at the center, and therefore we are looking for someone who actively works to ensure that your students succeed. In addition to being a subject teacher, you will also serve as a personal mentor to approximately twenty students, and you will have an individual mentoring conversation with each of your students every week. You will help them plan and set goals for their studies and follow up on those goals together with both the students and their guardians. At Kunskapsskolan, we emphasize teamwork. You are never alone with challenges and questions. We help each other plan work in work teams and subject teams. There is great openness among teachers, and we share collective responsibility for our students. To facilitate your work and enable you to focus your time on students, we have gathered a large portion of our teaching materials on our digital portal Kunskapsporten. For each subject, there are suggestions for teaching methods, assignments, and teaching materials. Qualifications We are seeking a teacher in Physical Education and Health. You should be well familiar with LGR-22 and formative assessment. Meriting Qualifications We would appreciate it if you have a few years of experience in teaching, mentoring, or mentorship. We want you to be comfortable collaborating with colleagues, students, and guardians and to be solution-focused. We greatly value your commitment, pedagogical competence, and mentoring ability. We want you to be a stable and trustworthy person who can build confidence with students. Position Details This is a fixed-term position for the school year 2026/27.
