Your Assignment As a childcare teacher with us, you work in a team together with both preschool teachers and childcare teachers to create joyful, educational, and meaningful instruction for each child. In your role, you contribute to creating care, security, and pedagogical activities that promote children's development and learning. The assignment includes planning, implementing, following up, and evaluating activities together with colleagues based on the preschool's curriculum, governing documents, and established goals. You work to promote children's language development, which is one of the preschool's prioritized goals. The role also includes working with children in need of special support, such as autism and ADHD. You actively participate in pedagogical documentation and document children's learning processes as part of systematic quality work. The work also includes introducing new children, participating in project work, attending parent meetings, development conversations, pedagogical discussions, contact with guardians, and opening and closing the preschool. You will be part of either a younger or older children's group but will work with all ages as needed. We help each other across departments and have close, unpretentious collaboration. Your Experience For this position, you must have: - Upper secondary or post-secondary education as a childcare teacher - Experience working as a childcare teacher in a preschool with children ages 1-5 years - Experience with and knowledge of pedagogical documentation - Experience working with language development methods - Experience working with children in need of special support - Good digital skills and experience using digital tools - Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written It is meriting if you also have: - Experience participating in development conversations and parent meetings - Knowledge and experience with systematic quality work - Good understanding of Lpfö18 Is This You?
