At the Women's Clinic in Kalmar, we offer an interesting and developmental role as a medical secretary. Your responsibilities will include patient care documentation, registration in quality registries, managing referrals, TeleQ, scheduling patients, and diagnosis coding. At the Women's Clinic, you will work as a medical secretary Monday through Friday during daytime hours. We offer flexible working hours. About You We are looking for someone who is trained as a medical secretary or healthcare administrator. It is a merit if you have several years of experience in the profession and if you have previously worked with Cosmic. You have IT skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. As a person, you have an interest, willingness, and ability to help others, and you are attentive and accommodating in your interactions with both patients and colleagues. You have the ability to structure your work well and, together with your colleagues, take responsibility for your work group's areas of responsibility. Your Future Workplace The Women's Clinic has approximately 200 employees within obstetrics and postpartum care, gynecology, specialist maternal care, and urology therapy. We consist of three different divisions: Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Maternal Health Care. The gynecological division focuses on gynecological diseases and treatments as well as early pregnancy complications up to and including week 21 of pregnancy. Gynecology Ward 5 has 6 inpatient beds and 4 day care spots. At the delivery ward/postpartum care, mothers and babies are cared for in connection with delivery as well as pregnant women with pregnancy complications from week 22 of pregnancy. Maternal Health Care activities consist of pregnancy monitoring, parent groups, contraceptive counseling, gynecological cervical screening, and youth activities. We are located at midwifery clinics, youth clinics, and family centers, totaling 14 clinics. In addition, there is also a specialist maternal care unit that handles the majority of ultrasound examinations/ultrasound screening during pregnancy and cares for pregnant women with complicating medical conditions. Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an acute care facility with specialist care, delivery care, and postpartum care. Here, just over 2,300 people work to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents.
