What you can expect from the role As a Department Manager, you are responsible for the store's leisure department. This means you are the management team's extended arm in the operation. Your responsibility includes ensuring that the department is always well-organized, sales-oriented and customer-ready with well-stocked and inviting shelves. You create inspiring seasonal displays, suggest which products fit for promotional displays and cross-selling opportunities. Order and organization are one of our core values, and in this role you ensure that signage and directions are clear and correct. You are also responsible for the department's inventory. An important part of your role is to motivate and engage your colleagues and share your knowledge of the department's products. Together with your colleagues, you pick up goods and coach them to provide Biltema's customers with the best possible service. You are a team player who values close collaboration with other department managers where you willingly exchange ideas and experiences.
