Transport Aviation Squadron is the unit that provides tactical transport aircraft with the TP 84 aircraft (C-130 Hercules) both nationally and internationally. Our mission is to transport materiel and personnel, conduct airborne supply operations, and tactical air transport. We are now recruiting Aircraft Technicians for the Transport Aviation Company. The company's primary task is to meet the tactical transport aviation system's need for airworthy TP 84 Hercules aircraft over time according to planned flight hour allocation. The work involves shared responsibility for ensuring that assigned flight hour production and aircraft maintenance within the TP 84 system are carried out in a cost-effective and personnel-friendly manner. This includes a wide variety of tasks and assignments that run both over time and with short notice. Operations are conducted mainly at F 7 Såtenäs but also frequently at other locations, both nationally and internationally. Transport Aviation Squadron is undergoing re-equipment where a new tactical transport aviation system will be introduced in the aircraft. The Transport Aviation Company is therefore seeking aircraft technicians with B1 or B2 certifications to maintain both the TP 84 and the upcoming aviation system. Primary Work Tasks Work as an Aircraft Technician includes: - Performing preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance on the tactical transport aviation system. - Training to become a qualified aircraft technician for the upcoming aviation system. - Participating in national and international exercises and operations with the squadron. Qualifications - Specialist Officer SO6/SO7 - Certified Aircraft Technician Category B1 or B2 - Meets requirements according to FM FYSS - B driving license - Swedish citizenship Merits - Knowledge of the TP 84 system - Knowledge of FM common data systems and data systems within material services (e.g., PRIO, LIFT, and FENIX) - Forklift certification A/B - Civilian driving license C/Military authorization for heavy trucks - ADR training or alternatively IATA/HFFG Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with good planning skills and the ability to take responsibility for and organize activities according to assigned tasks. You should be able to work both independently and in groups, in home environments as well as during operations. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities such as cooperation skills, flexibility, organizational ability, and service attitude. We also see that you have good communication skills and can express yourself well both verbally and in writing. You should be a good representative for the Swedish Armed Forces and stand behind the Swedish Armed Forces' core values. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
