About the Department The care unit is part of the specialist clinic Medicine Geriatrics and Rehabilitation. We have 34 inpatient beds where we care for patients in two sections—one providing geriatric and rehabilitation care, and the other treating patients with various acute internal medicine conditions. Our major patient groups include patients with infections, cardiac conditions, COPD/Asthma, geriatric patients, and patients requiring rehabilitation following stroke or orthopedic conditions. As an employee, you are expected to be able to rotate between all sections, thereby gaining broad expertise within the field. We provide thorough orientation based on your previous experience and offer internal training programs. Day, evening, and weekend shifts are included. You work independently and directly with patients, providing patient care and patient mobilization. Other common tasks include risk assessments, repositioning, and specimen collection. Qualifications Requirements: Certified nursing assistant with a diploma from the Health and Care Program or the vocational package Health and Care from adult education. Meritorious: Experience working in acute care and/or departmental work Personal Qualities: You demonstrate professional and respectful communication and strong teamwork skills.
